Casa Xerragúa is a village house in the Parque Natural de Redes, in Asturias, a part of green Spain. It was converted from a barn in the early 1990's, and is now owned by Petra and Robert Brown. It lies at the beginning of the Ruta del Alba, a popular walk through the Alba gorge.
We named the house after the pointed mountain you see from the balcony or "corredor" - Peña Xerragúa. Casa Xerragúa is in the village of Soto de Agues, near to (Pola de) Laviana.
Casa Xerragua provides a great base for walkers, mountain lovers, nordic walkers, cyclists, nature watchers; or just as a place to "be".
